V-222

Okay. Here's the first sight of my Komodo Dragon scout vehicle that I'd like to share. Modeled by SketchUp and then rendered by KeyShot it's been a great relieve doing some 3D stuff lately. Later on I decided to make a better composition by putting it in a scene. Just don't have a proper time yet, probably sooner or later. Well, I'll do my best.

Anyway, cheers for looking!

Panthera Gun

A recent 3D gun concept from my piece Apex Predator. It's called Panthera Gun, a kind of compact heavy rail gun. Done with SketchUp and rendered with KeyShot. Actually it was just my attempt to trying render with KeyShot, no intention further than that. Also, it's been ages for me since the last time I'm modelling something, so yeah pardon me for the ugly looks.

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Skinhard!

Hi there, seems like a very long time ago since I posted something in here. Being a full-time worker actually is not an easy task honestly. Spent time freely and do your own likings anytime.

Anyway, this is another old work of mine that I've split in separate layer, like my other process obviously. You can see the finished one on my deviantArt. A big armored mech that almost cumbersome to operate, but its fully loaded with a bunch of armaments that makes it very tough and durable. 5.4 meters in height and about 50 tons in weight, this autonomous mechanical soldier are capable of delivering barrage of firepower to various types of opponents. Maintaining a great balance between offense and defense in many battles.

Cheers!

ATLASS

This is a bit old work but haven't got a chance to show up here. So meet ATLASS, or Auto-Trans Life Armored Special Suit. Honestly the name is just popped out in my mind that I think its pretty cool back then. Anyway, this kind of exosuit thing is one of the backbone of future mechanized soldier in not so distant future. It has the effectiveness of human reflexes and the power of machine, useful for many hard work activities in the battlefield that no man alone can handle. It has enough power to take down armored vehicle with its well-equipped arsenal cannon. The auxilary link interface multi weapon system allows the two guns aimed at the concentrated target directly. Increasing the opportunity of reaction in hitting by human reflex.

Quite sophisticated technology if I may say.

T-15 Tyrant

Tyrant is greatly inspired by the Russian tank the T series (of course without the legs). One of the reason is because I really loved the model of classic Soviet tanks that somehow still used until now, especially the sleek and rounded body armor. Even though long before the purpose is just for the "looks" and to distinguished with the other tanks but then slowly those armor type was developed to pass on projectile impact. Including protection with coating and additional reactive armor stuff lately. That's what makes it more interesting.

So here's some line art work to the finished version. Cheers!

Cheetah

Well.. finally had time to update my little blog.

This is a Cheetah. The quadruped big cat animal like robot "C-12 Cheetah" is a war drone capable of handling high speed performance while originally built for target pursuit task. The wide range sensors plugged from head to tail within the body armor (frame) with vast field of view. Making it one of the best killing machine available for fast response task. Seek and destroy!

Stormrider

Military walker heavy unit that I design from the body of IFV MOWAG Piranha, although its just the body upper part and the rest is come out of nowhere. A mech that can deliver heavy firepower but also has tough armor. Equipped with short-sized tank cannon, double rapid waist machine gun, also the multi barrel gun on top of the mech (that I think is the most iconic part). The right hand is the manipulator arm used for many purposes such as loading empty clip for cannon, disabling mines, or even helping other unit in combat.

Built with 2B mech pencil and finished in Photoshop. Playing with the coloring process I decided to maintain the color of anime style with just only flat skin and shadows. Nothing much shiny and fancy looks I guess

Ironforged (Traditional & Digital)

Meet the Lord of Ironforged, a monstrous mechanical being that lived on its own.

Made this using 2B mechanical pencil on A3 paper then tweaked it a little on Photoshop. Besides clearing some unwanted dust and debris, editing digitally I used for getting more contrast, mood, and lighting. Also some elements of graphic design I put on the title and description around the picture.

Cheers!

I'm trying not to add too much digital editing when working on this, the only reason is I still want to preserve this as a traditional piece and want to get both impression from both medium. A traditional and also digital. Which is a bit hard for me but has quite satisfying result.

WEAPON CONCEPT

Some weapon concepts that I've made during my free time. The shape and idea of cutaway weapons (four on under) is from Deadspace the game series. It has the industrial and mechanical design which is pretty cool to look at.

Another old work

A bunch of old line art and sketches that I've done. It's always fun for me to do an exploration of the mechanical shape to make something looks different and unique but also believable. I always starts with some weird images on my head or sometimes thumbnails. After that I just following my "writhed" path little by little until it's done. Rather than just boxy and rounded shape I'm trying to figure out some strength about each shape to give it characters.

first post new blog.. so yeah cheers!

Pretty old drawing I've done about a couple years ago. I'm trying to build a big piloted mech that ended up with this short sized guy. The chainsaw hand is just (what I thought) a coincidence weapon that I think gonna looks cool even it's not so fit there. oh well..

This guy is also as old as the above one image. Half bio mech and half demon. I want to make it as a legendary big bot killing machine that has enormous brain which is collected from its prey. To make it more majestic I added some kind of wings, scythe and broadsword, big head, and also one big eye. A type of slow and hardcore mechanical evil as a symbol of a death god and divine things.

Another version you can see it here > image
